As we Prepare our hearts for the arrival of the Messiah, we are humbled that He would give His favor to us. Why would He do this? What did we do to deserve it? How should we live in response to it? In today’s passage we look once again at Mary and Elizabeth, and we discover through their example that God’s favor is poured out on us for His glory and for the sake of others.
